Happy New Year From Dr. Franklyn Elliott!
Happy 2022, everyone! It’s hard to believe that 2021 has already come and gone. The start of every new year brings a special kind of positivity and excitement for everyone here at our plastic surgery practice. While we could not be more excited for 2022, I wanted to reflect a bit on the past year and some of the things that my medical team and I were most proud of from 2021. Here are a few personal highlights from the past year.
First and foremost, it was such an incredible pleasure to fully welcome patients back into our office. The last couple years have been strange and difficult in many ways, but being able to meet so many new patients, and see many familiar faces as well, was unquestionably the highlight of the year. While it was certainly disappointing not to be able to attend and enjoy the Atlanta Breast Surgery Symposium due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, it has been nice to see things slowly come closer to normal and we certainly look forward to hosting that event again soon in the future.
It was also a terrific honor to once again be named a Top Doctor in the field of plastic surgery by Castle Connolly and my peers for 2021. Even in my sixth consecutive year of receiving this honor, I do not take it for granted. It means so much to have been nominated by my fellow plastic surgeons and to know that I have the respect and support of our medical community.
With 2021 officially behind us, who knows what amazing things that the new year may bring for our practice and our patients? Before we segue completely into the new year, I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who helped make the last year so productive and special for all of us. This includes my fantastic surgical team and staff for setting and maintaining the highest standard of patient care and expertise and all of our wonderful and supportive patients.
