Happy New Year, from Dr. Franklyn Elliott
It’s honestly hard to believe that 2017 has already come and gone. This year came and went in what felt like the blink of an eye. With the start of the New Year comes considerable excitement and new possibilities. But before we plunge fully into 2018, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on some of the things that we were most proud of over the last year. I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to get to meet and work with so many wonderful patients. It was truly a pleasure to be able to help so many people with cosmetic and reconstructive procedures to rejuvenate their appearances and restore their self-esteem and overall image.
When given the chance, I am always happy to share the knowledge I have gained with my colleagues. I pride myself on contributing to the world of plastic and reconstructive surgery by educating other surgeons on the many advanced surgical techniques I have learned in my many years performing plastic surgery. This year, I was fortunate enough to once again to be a guest lecturer and presenter at the Atlanta Breast Surgery Symposium. In addition to moderating panels on types of breast implants and areola repositioning, I also had the privilege of introducing the Honorary Hartrampf Lecture.
I was also truly honored to be named a Top Doctor once again in the field of plastic surgery by Castle Connolly for 2017. It meant so much to just have been nominated by so many other outstanding plastic surgeons. Being able to help my patients is certainly its own reward, but it really does mean a great deal to receive such an amazing acknowledgment from my colleagues in the field and everyone at Castle Connolly.
It was a very busy and productive year here at my Atlanta plastic surgery office. Before I sign off, I wanted to take a moment to thank my exceptional medical team and staff for helping to provide all of our patients with the professional care and courtesy they deserve. I also want to thank all of my patients. It’s an honor to work with you as your plastic and reconstructive surgeon, and I look forward to continuing our work in 2018.
