What Is The Best Breast Implant Size?
One of the very best things about cosmetic surgery is how each procedure can be carefully tailored to the specific needs of each and every patient. And of the many cosmetic surgery procedures that I perform, you could make a case that breast augmentation surgery may be the most customizable of all. This is due to the wide variety of breast implants available today and the many textures, shapes, and (most importantly) sizes that they come in. I wanted to take some time today to discuss how I help my patients determine the right breast implant size for them.
Every patient is different, but ultimately they all have the same end goal when considering breast augmentation: how can I achieve the new breast contour that I desire? It’s important for patients to understand that “best” is an extremely subjective term and what works for one patient may not be helpful to the next. This is why the breast augmentation consultation appointment is so important. During the consultation, I always take the time to run through breast implant size options with my patients, as well as other relevant factors, to make sure they understand everything available to them.
In the video below, I go into detail on how I help my breast augmentation patients determine the best implant size for their needs, and whether some implants may be considered “too big”:
As long as you work with an experienced, board-certified plastic surgeon, the patient satisfaction rate for breast augmentation is incredibly high. But still, it’s important to fully understand all of the available procedure options in order to be most satisfied with the aesthetic results that may be achieved with the procedure.
