How I Prioritize Safety During Mommy Makeover Surgery
During plastic surgery consultations here in our office, one thing I’ve noticed is that many patients are less interested in the specifics of the procedure itself and more focused on the results they will get. While this is understandable, it’s important to remember that cosmetic surgery is still surgery and safety is not something that should ever be taken lightly. This is especially true in the case of combination surgery procedures like the mommy makeover.
Due to the complex nature of this combination procedure, my staff and I make patient safety our absolute top priority. This begins during the consultation phase, where we will confirm that every patient we meet with is in good enough physical and mental health to safely undergo their procedure. Certain risk factors including diabetes or obesity can affect whether someone is a good candidate to undergo this procedure safely or not.
In the following video, I discuss how my staff and I make sure to always prioritize patient safety during mommy makeover surgery:
Although it may seem complex, I have been performing mommy makeover procedures for years and have the experience and knowledge to help put my patients safety first at all times. When performed by a board-certified plastic surgeon, undergoing a mommy makeover can be a great way to achieve comprehensive and life-changing body contouring results.
