What Breast Implant Size is Right for Me?
One of the most satisfying aspects of breast augmentation surgery is the number of options patients have during the planning and consultation stages of their procedure. Perhaps the most important of these choices is what size of breast implants are the right fit for the patient’s specific aesthetic goals. As a board-certified plastic surgeon with decades of experience performing breast enhancement procedures, I know firsthand just how important it is to find the appropriate implant size that will help the patient achieve the increase in breast volume that they prefer.
But what is the right choice when it comes to breast implant size? That’s up to the patient and how much of an increase in breast size that she wants. Choosing between larger or smaller breast implants is a matter of personal preference. Regardless of what is currently trendy or more fashionable, how you feel personally is far more important than any societal trends. As long as the implants you select provide an increase in breast volume while maintaining a balanced, proportional figure, there really is no wrong choice.
