How I Provide Natural-Looking Eyelid Surgery Results
As a board-certified plastic surgeon, one thing that I pride myself on is being able to provide my patients with natural-looking aesthetic results. There is a very intricate balance required when seeing patients who wish to improve some area of their appearance without wanting to look overdone or unnatural following their surgery. This is even more important during facial procedures like eyelid surgery due to the prominence of the facial features. Below I explain how I am able to deliver outstanding, natural-looking eyelid surgery results.
Eyelid surgery is not a reconstructive procedure and the structure of the patient’s face will not be altered. My goal during any eyelid surgery procedure is not to drastically change my patient’s appearance. But rather, to make their face look younger and more refreshed by treating common visible signs of aging including fat deposits, loose skin, and the appearance of “bags” under their eyes. I also do everything I can to make my incisions in the natural lines and creases of the eyelids to prevent any visible post-surgery scarring.
In the following video, I discuss my many years of experience performing eyelid surgery and how I am able to provide natural-looking results that last:
Eyelid surgery is consistently among the most in-demand cosmetic surgery procedures for both male and female patients. These subtle, natural-looking results are a big reason for this sustained popularity through the years. If you think you might be a good candidate for this procedure, your first step is consulting with a board-certified plastic surgeon to determine whether eyelid surgery is the right choice for your cosmetic needs.
