Why Patients Love My Short Scar Facelift
I have been performing plastic surgery for decades and have developed some of my unique surgical methods and techniques during that time. The most notable of which being my signature short scar facelift procedure. Knowing that each person has their own unique facial anatomy and aesthetic concerns, it’s important to me to be able to provide additional procedure options to ensure that every patient I treat will be able to find a procedure option that is the best fit for them. My staff and I pride ourselves on this kind of flexibility and versatility in our work. To help people get to know this outstanding procedure option, I wanted to discuss the short scar facelift in more detail.
My short scar facelift is a minimally invasive version of traditional facelift surgery. During the procedure, I will make an incision (hidden in the patient’s hairline) that extends downward in front of the patient’s earlobe. This smaller incision means there will be less post-surgical scarring as well. Once this has been done, I am able to reposition the skin and soft tissue in the lower portion of the face. This creates a natural-looking lifting effect to the cheeks and jowls, that can rejuvenate the entire face.
In the following video, watch as I go into more detail on the short scar facelift and why my patients have come to love this procedure so much over the years:
