Are There Minimal Procedures That Can Improve the Shape of the Nose?
Minimally invasive alternatives to common plastic surgery procedures have become very in-demand in the last few years. It’s easy to understand why. Some patients have more modest aesthetic needs, and the idea of achieving these goals with less downtime for rhinoplasty recovery is obviously very appealing. And while there may not be a less invasive option for every plastic surgery patient, some people can benefit greatly from options like my minimally invasive rhinoplasty surgery.
Minimally invasive plastic surgery can be very effective for treating some of the most common problems that people have with their nose, including the appearance of a nasal hump and issues with the nasal tip. In fact, I am able to address both of these concerns in one procedure if needed. During surgery, I will make a very small incision in the area between the nostrils known as the columella. Recovery from these procedures is minimal when compared to traditional rhinoplasty surgery, and the results are typically fantastic and long-lasting.
In the video below, I go in-depth on what these procedures entail, how they work, and what patients can expect during and after their surgery:
While they may not always be the best path for everyone, being able to provide less invasive plastic surgery methods like this is still something that I find is very helpful for my patients. Being able to help guide each of my patients to the most appropriate treatment path for their specific needs is of utmost importance to me.
