Dr. Elliott Named a Top Doctor Once Again in 2021

Dr. Franklyn Elliott With so many excellent options to choose from, it can sometimes be difficult for first time cosmetic surgery patients to select a plastic surgeon to perform their procedure. There are several indicators of quality to look out for including board-certifications, reviews from past patients, and standing within the industry. With this in mind, I am incredibly honored and happy to announce that I have once again been named a Top Doctor in Atlanta in the field of Plastic Surgery.

Each year, the recipients of the Top Doctors honors are selected by their peers through Castle Connolly. Castle Connolly employs a panel of physicians and other medical professionals to help guide patients towards top-level medical care in a wide variety of fields. This ranges from general care physicians to specialty areas including plastic surgery, dermatology, pediatrics, and many more. When patients see a Top Doctor designation, they can be sure the doctor has cleared a high threshold of patient care, experience, professional achievement, and innovation within their respective treatment area.

This is the sixth consecutive year that I have received this honor and I do not take it for granted. I want to take a moment to thank everyone who helped make this possible. This begins with all of my fellow Atlanta area plastic surgeons for deeming me worthy of being nominated. Most importantly, my incredible medical team deserves an enormous amount of credit. How I Provide Natural-Looking Eyelid Surgery Results

As a board-certified plastic surgeon, one thing that I pride myself on is being able to provide my patients with natural-looking aesthetic results. There is a very intricate balance required when seeing patients who wish to improve some area of their appearance without wanting to look overdone or unnatural following their surgery. This is even more important during facial procedures like eyelid surgery due to the prominence of the facial features. Below I explain how I am able to deliver outstanding, natural-looking eyelid surgery results.

Eyelid surgery is not a reconstructive procedure and the structure of the patient’s face will not be altered. My goal during any eyelid surgery procedure is not to drastically change my patient’s appearance. But rather, to make their face look younger and more refreshed by treating common visible signs of aging including fat deposits, loose skin, and the appearance of “bags” under their eyes. I also do everything I can to make my incisions in the natural lines and creases of the eyelids to prevent any visible post-surgery scarring.
